About Retreat Me
RetreatMe began from my passion for health and started as a vision to bring more vitality to people. An escape to reset and reconnect with oneself. Inspired by my own health and wellness journey, I found that in order to renew the body and mind, the daily stresses and negative influences must be left behind so the body can feel safe to surrender and heal. Also, health isn’t solely about eating well and exercising, thought patterns, stress levels and emotions play a role as well as daily environmental factors.
Types of Retreats
Yoga
The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj, meaning “to yoke,” or “to unite”. The practice aims to create union between body, mind and spirit, as well as between the individual self and universal consciousness. Such a union tends to neutralize ego-driven thoughts and behaviors, creating a sense of spiritual awakening. Inner body awareness is encouraged; Every-body is different so make it your own by feeling into what feels right for you. Yoga has many benefits including decreased anxiety & stress, increased flexibility, strength and balance, back pain relief, heart health, better sleep, more energy, improved mood, posture, digestion, blood flow, metabolism and inner strength. There is also a spiritual aspect brought to the yoga practice. Most people are running on past experience narratives, here you can expand your mind to the newness in every moment. Find peace, your peace, in the chaos.
Detox
Just as a car needs to have its motor tuned, internal parts clean, and oil and other fluids replenished on a regular basis in order to perform properly, avoid breakdowns, and prolong its mileage life, so the human body requires regular maintenance and internal cleansing in order to stay healthy, prevent disease and prolong life. There is no way you can do it simply by eating the right foods so unless you’re willing to RETREAT from daily life for a while and take the time to do it properly there’s not much point in trying to detox at all. Detox retreats nourish your body and mind with healthy fresh organic meals, juice cleanses and fasting, meditation, detox yoga and pranayama (breathwork) techniques and an escape away from roles and responsibilities. Occasionally using optional tools and practises such as hot and cold plunges and lymphatic massage.
Couples
Another core value of mine is connection. This can be spiritual, to self or in relationship. Inspired by searching for a couples retreat for my own love relationship, I was looking for something light hearted and fun to strengthen the connection while enjoying a vacation together. I wasn’t interested in retreats that contain hours and hours of prolonged therapy sessions. We combine couples yoga, meditation, fun activities created by world renowned couples therapists, and encourage time together by doing things like couples massage, excursions and activities, one on one time and being in nature. The intention is to strengthen love, the relationship and bring more awareness to each other in a fun,healthy, relaxing and enjoyable environment.

Come join Lana and Megan on this healthy holiday! Yin and Yang come together with a power Yang yoga flow by Lana in the morning and gentle yin yoga and meditation with Megan in the evening.
